How can a factory be operated CO₂-neutrally? What role does hydrogen play? And what research is being conducted at Wasserstoff Campus Salzgitter? Participants of last week’s training program “Net Zero Scenario – how to achieve it with hydrogen” at the Campus in Salzgitter received answers to these and other exciting questions. The on-site event builds on various online learning modules and combines theoretical knowledge with practical insights.

Highlights of the on-site event:

  • Participants visited the automated production and dismantling line for fuel cell and electrolysis stacks at Wasserstoff Campus. Here, applications on an industrial scale are being researched – an important contribution to the energy transition.
  • Salzgitter AG, a member of Wasserstoff Campus Salzgitter e.V., presented its electrolysers and shared hands-on industrial experience with hydrogen technologies.
  • Robert Bosch Elektronik GmbH, also a member of the e.V., provided insights into decarbonization measures at its Salzgitter site. Since 2019, CO₂ emissions have been reduced by more than 90%.
  • In addition, several expert lectures were held, and participants applied their knowledge in interactive case scenarios.
